Texas Interdisciplinary Addiction Institute is an Approved Provider of Continuing Education for Certification and Recertification for Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors in the State of Texas. Texas Certification Board of Addiction Professionals (TCBAP) Provider Number: 1702-04

Provider approved by the TCBAP Standards Committee, Provider No. 1702-04, (52.5) hours General, (7.5) hours HIV/Hep C/Sexually Transmitted Diseases, (9) hours Ethics (E) and (3) hours Clinical Supervision (CS). Expires 01/31/2019.

While 72 total hours have been approved across all credit types, 24 hours (max) are available per person, as a variety of classes are offered at the same time.


Maximum Hours Per Attendee: 24 hours

  • Pre-Conference: 3 hours
  • Full-Conference: 20 hours (Includes Early Morning Riser and Evening Sessions)
  • Lunch Session: 1 hour

SW / LPC / LMFT
This conference has been approved for continuing education credit for Social Workers, LPCs and LMFTs by the Texas Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers. The conference was approved for 24 hour(s) of continuing education including 9 ethic(s) and 3 supervision hour(s) for social workers, LPCs and LMFTs..

CHW
Sessions at the conference can apply to non-CHW certified classes and count toward CHW certification and renewal. A certificate of completion will be issued showing applicability to CHW core competencies.

Overall Conference Desired Outcome:
Individuals attending the Texas Interdisciplinary Addiction Institute will obtain critical information to help prevent, treat and counsel individuals on substance use and addictions, as well as ways to help patients or clients in recovery; handle ethical dilemmas; and prevent provider burnout.   • Turn in a CE Request Form onsite
  • Partial credit may not be granted for partial attendance or for completing partial course requirements. Participants may not be excused for part of the course and receive credit for completing it.
